Career support at the Itabashi Campus, which mainly trains medical professionals, is not just a short-term perspective such as employment support at the time of graduation or support for going on to higher education, but a long-term career development development as a professional with an eye on the future of students. I see it from the perspective. Specifically, lectures are held by inviting recruiters and graduates of medical institutions and companies in collaboration with faculty members and staff in charge of employment, and various work-style career support courses such as self-analysis, interviews, and essay preparation are held. We are engaged in various initiatives such as assigning full-time employment counselors, including qualified career counselors. In addition, we are practicing flexible career support that takes into consideration the characteristics of each major and the wishes of the students, such as holding a firefighter preparation course for students of the Emergency Medical Technician Course in partnership with a qualified prep school on campus.
It is possible to search and browse the job vacancies that reach our university on the Internet. We also send you information about employment by email. You can make online reservations for various employment support events such as basic employment courses (self-analysis + interview preparation), essay preparation courses, and employment consultation (resume correction, mock interviews, individual interviews).
The Career Support Center has filed job postings that have been delivered to the university, and can be viewed freely. In addition, there is also a file of examination reports, so you can know what kind of recruitment examinations were held in the past and what questions were asked in interviews. In addition, we provide career advisors who are qualified as career counselors to provide support that meets the diverse needs of students regarding employment and further education.
A questionnaire is taken mainly by the national examination preparation committee, and the one to be taken annually is decided. Intensive lectures in the form of training camps will be held in spring and winter, sponsored by the university. In addition, we will hold commentary lectures by faculty members on campus at the request of students, using the free time outside the curriculum. In addition, faculty members from our university will form a support team to prepare for the national examination.
In partnership with Tokio Marine & Nichido Career Service, which develops comprehensive human resources services, a satellite office of the Career Support Center was opened in Shinjuku, and individual consultations (reservation required) by counselors to support employment and career changes for current students and graduates. We are working to strengthen lifelong career development development support.
