Message from the Dean

Law is essential to solving various problems in society. Graduate School of Law aims to develop human resources with advanced legal processing capabilities. Those involved in law are required not only to have legal knowledge, but also to have a legal mindset. In other words, they are required to have an accurate understanding of important provisions, precedents, and theories, and the wisdom to flexibly apply such knowledge in specific cases. Sometimes, deep insight into people is also required. In order to acquire a legal mindset, a considerable period of education and training is required. In this graduate school, we invite knowledgeable and experienced predecessors from academia, the legal profession, and the government, and systematically educate students from basic knowledge to advanced specialized knowledge, focusing on the case method using precedents as teaching materials, in order to train legal professionals who will contribute to society.
