Educational Purposes

In accordance with School Philosophy of founding,We develop medical personal who acquired the specialized knowledge and skills necessary for various fields of medicine and medical care in the future, and a comprehensive perspective, judgment, and humanity. we also develop a good doctor who can adapt to the progress of related sciences and changes in social conditions.

Three policies of the Department of Medicine, the School of Medicine

The School of Medicine aims to develop good doctors who can provide a variety of medical cares by acquiring the latest medical knowledge and skills in order to contribute to the development of medicine and medical care. A degree will be awarded to those who have acquired the following abilities and have completed the prescribed credits.

  1. As a good doctor, students will be able to acquire the specialized knowledge, skills, attitudes, and habits that are commonly required in various fields of medicine and medical care in the future, and acquire the foundation for lifelong learning.
  2. Students will be able to acquire the ability and creativity to accurately grasp and solve problems by yourself, and adapt to the progress of medicine and related sciences and changes in social conditions.
  3. Students can think about medical care not only in the natural sciences but also in relation to the mental and social problems behind it, and you can acquire a comprehensive perspective, judgment, and humanity.

In order to enable students to acquire the abilities set out in the degree awarding policy, School of Medicine will organize its curriculum according to the following policies.

  1. General education subjects are divided into five educational subject categories: liberal arts, first year, career, information, and foreign languages. Subjects are provided that will enable students to acquire rich humanity, ethics, communication skills, and International perspectives, as well as the basic knowledge necessary for medical professionals.
  2. The basic specialized subjects include subjects related to basic medical science in each field that are necessary for learning specialized knowledge and skills, as well as subjects related to early exposure (early clinical experience) to deepen understanding of Team Medical Care.
  3. Specialized subjects include subjects related to clinical medicine, diagnosis, testing, and treatment, which are necessary for those who are responsible for modern medical care. In addition, clinical training in each medical department is arranged to deepen understanding of all medical knowledge and technical aspects, and to learn the proper attitude of a doctor.
