Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's Medical Professional Support Program for Child-Rearing Generation

We have been commissioned by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare to carry out a project to support medical professionals of child-rearing generation in 2023. Our goal is to promote the introduction of systems and programs to prevent young doctors and medical professionals from leaving their jobs and to support the careers of medical professionals of child-rearing generation, including Graduate School and undergraduate students, and to disseminate good practices both within and outside the university.

Title of course: Work-life studies in the medical field (formerly known as Building a gender-equal society and career design in the medical field)
We propose a new way of life where both men and women can work energetically and balance work and family life, and aim to acquire practical skills to learn the necessary knowledge and on-site realities to become a human resource who can play an active role in the medical field, and to think for oneself about how to make a life plan for the future. The course is conducted in an omnibus format by faculty members from three medical faculties, and classes are conducted with active learning, such as group work and discussions in which the students themselves participate.
