On Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th, 2025, at the 2025 Japan Para Athletics Championships held at the Miyaginohara Park General Athletic Grounds Koshin Rubber Athlete Park Sendai (Sendai City Athletics Stadium), Nanami Saeki (4th year, Faculty of Law) of Teikyo University Athletics Club won the 100m and long jump (T35). In the long jump, she achieved the feat of breaking the Japanese record. In addition, at the 109th Japan Athletics Championships held at the National Stadium (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) on Sunday, July 6th, she placed 7th in the open event women's para 100m final.
Saeki commented, "For the 100m, I focused on basic training and rehabilitation, and after training I was able to use my body well and win. In the long jump, I was happy to be able to break the Japanese record three times out of seven times. My next goal is to jump 3m, and then I'll do my best to break the world record."
