July 18, 2025
From Monday, July 7th to Friday, July 11th, 2025, the 9th installment of the "World Cuisine" project -South Korea Edition - was held at Godereccho, the student cafeteria on Teikyo University's Itabashi Campus.
This project is based on the concept of "globalization in everyday life" and sells representative dishes from around the world as an event menu for a limited time, and this time we sold South Korea food, which was the most requested dish in the survey. We offered three types of lunch plates and two types of desserts over the course of a week, and many people enjoyed them, selling out every day.
This time, in addition to selling South Korea food, we promoted the connection between our university and South Korea. Our university has exchange agreements with 10 South Korea universities, the second highest number among all countries with which we have exchange agreements. Our university accepts many international students from South Korea every year and sends many students to South Korea. In addition, on Wednesday, June 25th, we held a Global Challenge Seminar focusing on South Korea to improve the international awareness of students and faculty and staff, where they learned about history and culture.
We will continue to hold international events such as the "World Cuisine" project to help students feel closer to globalization, aiming to further internationalize our university and widely publicize our internationalization efforts.
The 4th Global Challenge Seminar "Let's talk about South Korea" was held
