The 2024 Faculty of Science and Engineering Best Teacher Award ceremony was heldUtsunomiya Campus

On Thursday, December 12, 2024, the 2024 Faculty of Science and Engineering Best Teacher Award ceremony was held at Teikyo University Utsunomiya Campus. This award system started in FY2023, and the award is given to the faculty members in charge of education at Faculty of Science and Engineering who have received the highest class evaluations by students and are making efforts to improve their classes and teaching skills. Department of Information and Electronic Engineering Associate Professor Koichi Muro received the award this year from Dean Masayuki Arai of the Faculty of .

Associate Professor Muro Yukiichi commented, "Thank you very much for selecting me for Faculty of Science and Engineering Best Teacher Award. I would like to thank all the faculty and staff involved. I am in charge of lectures, seminars, experiments, and other classes, and I change my teaching methods for each subject to increase students' motivation to learn. I believe these classes are well-received by the students. I would like to continue to strive to improve my education by making improvements to both the basic subjects that form the basis of technology and the ever-advancing specialized subjects. Thank you very much."

At our Utsunomiya Campus, we will continue to share information about these outstanding educational initiatives as good practices and promote faculty development activities in collaboration with the Center for Development of Higher Education.
