Teikyo University and FC Tokyo held a presentation competition for the Active Learning Program

On Thursday, October 31, 2024, in Tokyo, students from our university gave a presentation on "Inbound Strategy" at the Active Learning Program presentation competition, which is being implemented in collaboration between Teikyo University and FC Tokyo. At this competition, selected students will give a presentation on the theme of "Inbound Strategy that FC Tokyo should undertake" based on the experience and knowledge they have gained through activation activities such as questionnaire surveys conducted at the National Stadium during FC Tokyo home games and attending JTB lectures.
On the day, the students were divided into six teams from five countries (China, Australia, India, Indonesia, and Spain) and presented plans tailored to the target country that each team had chosen based on a questionnaire survey of foreign tourists conducted in September to three judges, including FC Tokyo President and CEO Jiji Kawagishi. The judges selected the winning team based on the presentations as well as a Q&A session that followed. Each team considered the culture and national character of their target country, making for a very lively event where participants were able to experience the charms of Japanese culture and FC Tokyo to the fullest.
Takuya Tsukamoto, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Faculty of Economics, and Satoshi Iwamura, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Medical Technology were involved in supporting and running the program for a long time. After all the teams had finished their presentations, Associate Associate Professor Tsukamoto praised the students, saying, "Each team was able to put together their research and presentation very well. It was a valuable experience to be exposed to the sports hospitality of a professional sports team like this, and I hope they will make use of it in the future."

Teikyo University will continue to provide more practical learning opportunities through Practical learning.
