Hachioji CampusRugby Football Club was awarded Shoichi Okinaga Academic and Cultural Achievement Award

On Wednesday, July 17, 2023, the 2023 Shoichi Okinaga Academic and Cultural Merit Award was presented to Tohoku University Rugby Football Club at Teikyo University Itabashi Campus. The University Rugby Football Club achieved an excellent performance last year, winning the Kanto Intercollegiate Rugby League A for the 12th time in three consecutive years and the National University Rugby Football Championship for the 12th time in three consecutive years. In honor of this achievement, Satoru Era, who was the captain of last year's team and currently plays for Kubota Spears Funabashi Tokyo Bay (graduated in 2023 Faculty of Medical Technology), received an award from Chairman and President Yoshihito Okinaga as a representative of Teikyo University Rugby Football Club.
