A group from Taipei Medical University toured Itabashi CampusItabashi Campus

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, a group from Taipei Medical University (Taipei, Taiwan) visited the Teikyo University Itabashi Campus to tour the campus and hospital. The university is a partner school of our university, and in March 2024, three students from our Faculty of Medical Technology Department of Nursing underwent training at the university, and next year, the university will be accepting students. This was the third visit since 2019, and 20 people visited our university for training.
After touring Itabashi Campus' Simulation Education and Research Center and other medical training laboratories, the group attended a lecture by Professor Ichiro Kaneko of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the School of Medicine of Medicine, and Professor Yoshinori Nakata of the Graduate Graduate School Graduate School of Public Health. The lecture involved the use of an actual patient simulator, allowing the group to experience the university's latest technology. The group then toured the adjacent School of Medicine Medicine Hospital. After touring the hospital facilities in general, the group visited the heliport on the roof, where the students were amazed by the great view and the large scale of the facility, and seemed to enjoy themselves by taking photos. The students commented, "It was a very fulfilling experience. We hope to use what we learned this time to further our studies when we return home."
Teikyo University will continue to strive to realize international exchange.
