Teikyo University's Faculty of Science and Engineering Science and Engineering will be participating in "Girls Meet STEM College (GMS College)," a program run by the Yamada Shintaro D&I Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation, which allows female junior and senior high school students to experience student life in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields.
This program, which involves 24 universities nationwide and involves collaboration beyond the boundaries of universities, aims to provide junior and senior high school girls with the opportunity to enjoy learning in the STEM field and experience real student life through laboratory and campus tours, interactions with university students, etc. Events held by each university will be searchable and available for application from June 11th (Tuesday) on the website operated by the foundation, and our university is also planning an event for junior and senior high school girls at Utsunomiya Campus on July 27th (Saturday).

Our university aims to provide an educational, research, and working environment for female doctors and researchers, and supports the efforts of the foundation. We will work with industry, academia, and government to promote the current need for a project to encourage female junior and senior high school students to choose science and engineering as their career path.
