We signed an agreement regarding collaboration and cooperation with Ikuo Hirayama Silk Road Museum, a public interest incorporated foundation.

On Friday, January 12, 2024, Teikyo University (Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: OKINAGA Yoshihito) and the Hirayama Ikuo Silk Road Museum (Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture; Chairman: Hirayama Ren) signed an agreement to promote collaboration and cooperation to facilitate joint research and joint projects. Going forward, the two institutions will work together to promote the prosperity of the local community and revitalize the local economy for the sustainable growth of Yamanashi Prefecture, as well as to revitalize Silk Road research at both institutions and utilize it in education through research on Silk Road collections, mutual personnel exchanges, and the implementation of joint projects.

Both parties will work together on the following matters:

1. human interaction
2. Conducting joint research and publishing its results
3. Mutual cooperation regarding joint projects
4. Other matters deemed necessary by Party A and Party B in order to achieve the above objectives.
