Special lecture by Masayuki Iwade, former head coach Rugby Football Club

Overview

Teikyo University Rugby Football Club, which has many players from Kyushu, has produced many professional rugby players and Japan national team players. Masayuki Iwade, former head coach of the university's Rugby Football Club and director of the university's Sports Bureau, who achieved brilliant results such as nine consecutive victories in the National University Rugby Championship, will give a special lecture at Fukuoka Campus.

Director Iwade, who has led the team as the coach of our university's Rugby Football Club for 26 years, is the first director of our university's new organization, Sports Bureau, which was established in April 2022. He is responsible for promoting sports through building governance in university sports, supporting careers and balancing academic studies, and creating a safe and secure environment, as well as coordinating collaboration with outside universities and contributing to society. Why not take this opportunity to hear from Director Iwade, who is "strong in the face of adversity" and led our university Rugby Football Club to the top of Japan?
