Borussia Dortmund Soccer Clinic held atHachioji Campus

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, a soccer clinic was held at the Teikyo University Hachioji Campus Athletics Stadium, featuring Borussia Dortmund, a prestigious European Bundesliga team. Thirty students from our university's soccer club participated in the event, and received soccer technique instruction from a German academy coach from Borussia Dortmund (BVB), which has an academic research partnership agreement with our university, and a coach from the Dortmund Soccer Academy (DSA), which runs the BVB soccer school in Japan.

In addition to technical instruction, the academy coaches were available to answer questions from students on the day, and many questions were asked about overseas club conditions that students would not normally have the opportunity to hear about, such as "training methods at overseas clubs" and "player management methods." The event was a great success.
