Teikyo University was ranked 601-800th out of 2,152 universities from 125 countries and regions around the world in the "THE Impact Rankings 2024" announced on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, and 6th (tied) among private universities nationwide. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the university has been ranked since its first entry in 2021.
This ranking was created by the British higher education magazine "Times Higher Education (THE)" and ranks universities on their contribution to sustainability, which is aligned with the 17 goals of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our university was ranked 30th (tied) out of 74 domestic universities in the overall ranking, and 6th (tied) among private universities. This was due to our high evaluation of SDG3 "Good Health and Well-being" and SDG16 "Peace, Justice and Institutions", ranking 301-400th in the world, and 401-600th in SDG10 "Reduced Inequalities within and among Countries".
Our university will continue to promote efforts toward the SDGs through our educational and research activities.
