Teikyo Technology Transfer Center exhibited at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024

Teikyo Technology Transfer Center and BULL Inc., a venture company spun out of the university, exhibited at the SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program, which was held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) on Wednesday, May 15th and Thursday, May 16th, 2024. The event was organized by an executive committee consisting of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and others, and with the goal of solving common global issues through open innovation, more than 400 startups, companies, and cities with their know-how and cutting-edge technologies exhibited at their booths, as well as keynote speeches, sessions, and pitch contests, attracting approximately 40,000 participants.

At the booth of Teikyo Technology Transfer Center, the center introduced its business activities, as well as its incubation facility that will begin operations in June 2024 to support early-stage companies and entrepreneurs, and the university's startup business. In particular, the center explained in what fields the university, as a comprehensive university, is creating startups and its efforts in entrepreneurship education. At the booth of BULL Co., Ltd., the company introduced the company's space development business, the Micro-ISS development, and the development of space debris countermeasures. In addition to developing education and social/industry-academia collaboration projects such as nurturing entrepreneurs and supporting venture companies, the university will continue to take on various initiatives with the aim of becoming a base for creating "Practical learning startup companies" with practical and innovative technologies.
